Animal: The Multifunctional Stool That Transforms Into a Playmate

The inspiration behind Animal is rooted in the belief that children's furniture should be more than just functional; it should also stimulate their imagination and provide a source of fun. Animal is a small stool that transforms into a charming chair with a simple and clever structure. It can easily be switched between the two forms, offering children a seat and a playmate in one. The stool's legs are designed in an equilateral triangle that extends far beyond the surface, providing an incredible degree of stability.

The design was realized using plastic blow molding technology, a testament to the designers' technical expertise. The project, which began in Shenzhen in March 2020, was completed in September of the same year, overcoming numerous design and testing challenges to achieve a delicate and stable structure.

Animal's unique properties and innovative design have not gone unnoticed. The design was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2021, a prestigious accolade given to top-of-the-line, creative, and professionally remarkable designs that demonstrate outstanding expertise and innovation. This award is a testament to the designers' artistic skill and technical prowess.
